The Short Version

• Unbettable is a self-help tool. It is not medical or psychological treatment.
• You must be 18 or older.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings.
• Blocking makes betting harder, but no blocker can stop every way to bet.

These terms are an agreement between you and __LEGAL_NAME__ ("we", "us") for your use of the Unbettable apps and this website. By using Unbettable, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who Can Use Unbettable

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract where you live.

2. What Unbettable Is And Is Not

Unbettable is a self-help tool that helps you stop sports betting through tracking, blocking, reminders, and support exercises. It does not diagnose or treat addiction or any other condition, and it does not replace a doctor, therapist, counselor, or helpline. Figures such as Money Kept, Your Receipt, and projections are estimates based on what you enter or import, not financial advice.

If you are in crisis, are thinking about harming yourself, or are in danger, contact your local emergency number or a helpline immediately. Helplines are listed in the app and on our support page.

3. Your License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Unbettable on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, under these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

4. Subscriptions, Free Trials, And Cancellation

• Plans. Unbettable offers yearly and monthly subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app and in the store before you buy, in your local currency.
• Free trial. The yearly plan may include a free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid yearly subscription and you are charged.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
• Cancelling. Cancel any time in your App Store account settings (iPhone) or Google Play subscriptions (Android). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds. Payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled by them under their policies. You can request one through Apple's or Google's support.
• Price changes. If a price changes, Apple or Google will notify you as required, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Blocking And Reminders

Blocking relies on features of your phone's operating system, such as Screen Time on iPhone and a local VPN with usage access on Android. It can be bypassed, for example through other devices, other networks, private DNS settings, or new betting sites we do not yet list. Reminders depend on your notification settings. We do our best to keep these features effective, but we do not guarantee that they will prevent every bet.

6. Your Responsibilities

• Keep your phone and its screen lock secure, because your data is stored on it.
• Only add an accountability partner who has agreed to be contacted by you.
• Do not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app, or use it to break any law.

7. Our Content

Unbettable, its design, text, and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. The Inter typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License. These terms do not give you any rights in our trademarks.

8. Third-Party Services

Unbettable works with services we do not control, including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, public DNS resolvers on Android, and the helplines and self-exclusion services we link to. Their own terms and policies apply to them.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Unbettable is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted or error free, or that using it will produce any particular result.

10. Limitation Of Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses of money, including gambling losses, arising from your use of or inability to use Unbettable. Our total liability for any claim relating to Unbettable is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country.

11. Ending These Terms

You can stop using Unbettable at any time by deleting the app and cancelling your subscription. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these terms. Sections 7, 9, 10, and 13 continue to apply after these terms end.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Unbettable after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of __JURISDICTION__, without regard to conflict of laws rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts.

14. Apple App Store Terms

If you downloaded Unbettable from Apple's App Store, you also agree that:

• These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Unbettable or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Unbettable.
• If Unbettable fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for any claims by you or others relating to Unbettable, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, or privacy claims, or intellectual property infringement claims.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed as a terrorist supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
